Your Library Card

We are part of the Northern Library Network. If you already have a NorLN Library Card, it works here!

To become a member/receive a library card, a person must present 2 pieces of identification; a valid photo ID and proof of current local address i.e., utility bill, voter's registration, personal check or similar. Both pieces of identification must have applicant's name and current address.

Your first card is free. Replacement cards are $3.00.

Your Library Card:

  • is needed to check out materials, pay fines, renew items, and check your records.
  • should be kept up to date regarding name, address, and phone numbers.
  • is a valuable possession and should be treated as such.
  • can be used from home to renew items, check your record, reserve items, and download eBooks.

Internet Card

If you already have a library card, that card also acts as an internet card. All you need to do to use the computers is stop by the Upstairs Service Desk and set up your password.

To receive an internet card all you need is a valid photo ID.

Your first internet card is FREE. Replacement internet cards are .50 cents.

  1. How will I know when to return my items?
    You will be given a receipt at the time of checkout, and you can also call or check the status of your items online.
  2. How can I renew my items?
    All items may be renewed three additional times, unless a hold has been placed on the item. You may call us or renew your materials online.
  3. What if I lose my library card?
    Your first library card is free. If you lose that card, we can issue you a replacement for $3.00. We will need to see identification to issue another card.
  4. Can other people use my library card?
    No, this card is only for your use.
  5. Can I use my library card in more than one library?
    Yes, your card is good in over 40 area libraries. Please see the NORLN Homepage for more information.
