Are you a recent grad interested in earning money for college or repaying federal student loans? Are you willing to commit one year to community service working to improve the lives of individuals and families in West Virginia? Are you interested in gaining practical work experience and training?
The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library is seeking to select an AmeriCorps member to serve during the 2017-2018 service year beginning in the fall. Tasks required of the selected member will include planning and providing programming for children, teens, and adults, both at the library and throughout our community. A background in education or social services is preferred.
LifeBridge AmeriCorps offers exciting opportunities working with vulnerable and at-risk individuals and families throughout West Virginia. All positions are full-time. Members are paid a living allowance of $12,630 and earn an Education Award of more than 5K. Benefits include health insurance and child care. All members must sign a contract committing to one year of service beginning at the time of signing.
